Give us the option to override this if it is our OWN campaign.
I can understand the reason(s) for not allowing users to override this if the contact is in SOMEONE ELSE's campaign (lot's of potential issues there) - but if they are in your own campaign, overriding this makes sense.
Example: I put someone in an email only campaign, but they connect with me on LinkedIn. I decide I want to put them into a new 'follow up' campaign specific to LinkedIn messages but I can't put them straight in. I can't put them in because they're still 'live' in the email campaign. Even if I mark them as replied they're still locked into in the email campaign. So I have to go the email campaign and press 'stop outreach' manually, reload the chrome extension and only then can I add them into the new campaign.
Let us override this for contacts in our own campaigns.
